What a continuation is — and is not
A continuation starts when a visitor uses ContinueWith to open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another supported assistant with structured context from your page: URL, title, selected text, and your prompt template.
ContinueWith records transition events — widget opened, prompt selected, assistant opened — at the website boundary. We never see the question they ask or the answer they receive inside the assistant.
That boundary is deliberate. It keeps visitor privacy intact while giving your team decision data about how your site participates in AI-native research.
Why measure continuations instead of conversations
Conversation surveillance would require hosting chat, storing transcripts, and taking on compliance surface area most marketing sites do not want.
Continuation analytics answer a different question: where does your site successfully hand off context into AI, and which pages, prompts, and assistants matter? That is enough to guide content strategy, docs investment, and AI journey design — without claiming to optimize what happens inside ChatGPT.
Next step
See it on your site
ContinueWith measures AI continuations at the website boundary — which assistant, which page, which prompt — without seeing private conversations. Install takes minutes.
